Miss B’s Play-To-Learn Center

Established in 2025, we are a child-led, play-to-learn center and children’s membership club in Southern California where little ones grow through creativity, connection, and enriching experiences.

Miss B’s aims to transform how we engage with early childhood education through a lifestyle approach that sees the whole child, family and community as one.

Our founding values place emphasis on every child having the freedom to B all that they are. We encourage children to advocate for their needs, and desires, and develop life long friendships within their community of peers, teachers, and community leaders.

The story of Miss B

I have always had deep empathy for children, after all, they are our future and deserve the very best in early education.

We are a community that advocates for each other, My passion grows as I learn more about the education systems around us, and our role in shaping the future.

Since my early career in London England as the founder of my own schools I realized that it was possible to help children find their inner magic by reimagining their very first learning experiences in life.

When I discovered how empowering children, grounding ourselves in nature, and harnessing community could all exist at once, my life’s work came into focus.

Miss B’s play-to-learn center is about building upon those experiences in England, and reflecting on what children need today, and in the future.

I have always believed in offering a curriculum that gives children a global perspective on the world around them and a strong sense of belonging.

Community is at the heart of our approach. We learn best when we empower each other, and share in all aspects of the work that we do.

Every child at Miss B’s will develop the skills to advocate for themselves. It is our goal to support independent learners whilst instilling values of humility, and stewardship.

It is a joy, and privilege to walk alongside your family at Miss B’s. I am proud of the community of teachers that we are bringing together, and the children that join us in the founding Summerland Club. They are the future, and I am inspired by their magic every day.
